Students, faculty and monks who need a book or article not in the collection, may request and receive it from another library through the library's document delivery service. This service is not available to the general public. Obtain details regarding this service at the circulation desk.

Throughout the year the library schedules lectures, art exhibits, workshops and musical events. To find out about current events, you may email Victoria Ertelt, Library Administrator, or call the library at (503) 845-3303.
The Abbey Library sells a wide variety of used books on the library's main floor, on the shelves across from the photocopier. The emphasis is mainly on Catholicism, theology and philosophy, but there are also many history, biography, travel, fiction, foreign language, etc. titles for sale. Prices generally range from fifty cents to five dollars, with a few more expensive items.
