• The Analytical Greek Lexicon Revised. Ed. Harold K. Moulton. Grand Rapids: Zondervon, 1978. Includes every word of the N.T. exactly as it stands in the original text. Provides a complete grammatical analysis. A standard tool for students of the N.T. (Ref. PA 881 A5 1979)
• The Analytical Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon. Ed. Benjamin Davidson. Grand Rapids: Zondervon, 1970. Every word of the O.T. is exhibited with a free grammatical analysis. A standard tool for students of the O.T. (PJ 4833 D3)
• Hebrew and English Lexicon of the Old Testament. Eds. Francis Brown et al. Oxford: Clarendon, 1978. (PJ 4833 G33)

The Catholic Periodical Literature Index, located on a table near the computer terminals, is helpful in finding articles by subject or author. Elenchus of Biblica is an index, by subject, of current articles; it is found on the shelves with the periodicals. There are many resources for exegesis on the Internet. This relatively short list should help you find them:

• Religious Studies Resource Page. A great place to look first; provides links to a wide variety of resources.
• Goshen's Bible Study Tools. Links to online Bibles, concordances (including Strong's Exhaustive Concordance), dictionaries, and lexicons (Greek and Hebrew).
• The Perseus Project: Texts and Translations. A growing library of resources for studying the ancient world. Ancient texts and translations, philological tools, maps, etc.
• Noncanonical Homepage of the Wesley Center for Applied Theology. Contains apocryphal and pseudepigraphal literature, including the apocryphal gospels and old testament books, and links to related sites.
• World Wide Study Bible. This site organizes all of the Bible-related resources on the World Wide Web according to scripture reference.

The following electronic journals relate to biblical studies:

• The Journal of Hebrew Scriptures. This is another good source of links to related web sites. (Look under "Okeanos".) You can also join discussion groups related to online articles.
• TC: A Journal of Biblical Textual Criticism. Dedicated to the study of the Jewish and Christian biblical texts; also extracanonical and related literature.
• The Journal for the Study of Rhetorical Criticism of the New Testament. Includes "articles that either make use of rhetorical critical methods not typically applied to the texts of early Christianity or analyze the rhetorical basis of studies of these texts no matter what methods have been used in their analysis."
