Regardless of where an individual is in his or her process of healing, there are a number of resources available to assist persons who have been victims of child abuse. Some are listed here. Undoubtedly, these will lead you to yet others.

Oregon Abuse Survivors & Advocates (OASA) - 503.222.3133
OASA is an organization of child abuse survivors and supportive family, friends, mental health professionals and lawyers. OASA is dedicated to the twin goals of healing and justice for survivors of abuse. They offer resource materials and workshops to the public, mental health professionals and law enforcement profession.

Portland Women's Crisis Line - 800.235.5333

Offers referrals to support groups and counseling resources for both men and women, both in and outside the Portland area. Crisis Lines serve almost every county in the state. They can be found in the Yellow Pages under Crisis Intervention.

Department of Human Services
DHS has offices throughout Oregon and can offer consultation as well as receive reports of child abuse. Call DHS or a law enforcement agency to report child abuse. DHS phone numbers are located in the telephone book under State Government.
